Demand for luxury apartments and villas in UAE’s Fujairah will increase in the next six months as several big economic projects take shape, reported the Gulf News on Monday.
The recent dredging of the Port of Fujairah and the construction of the new water desalination and power plant have prompted builders to provide high-rise apartments, said the paper.
"Residents of Fujairah, who have been living in old buildings for more than 10 years, are moving into new luxury apartments," a real estate agent said.
Demand and supply are even as flats are being rented out before water and electricity connections are made, he added.
"Four new buildings comprising 70 to 80 luxury flats will be completed and rented out within the next two months. Twenty other buildings are still under construction," the agent added – Albawaba.com
