Damascus Radio on Saturday described the “Gaza Bethlehem First” Agreement as a “maneuver … to win time and mislead the world public opinion”.
The Syrian state-run radio reported that the Israeli tanks rumbled into Palestinian villages and cities shortly after the said agreement, according to SANA news agency. “Formal withdrawals increase, but the siege imposed on Palestinian camps and cities (continues),” the radio conveyed and warned against Israel’s disrespect for international laws and conventions, not to mention the Israeli “nuclear threats”.
The radio further called for activating Arab solidarity in wake of the “Israeli nuclear blackmails and threats.” (Albawaba.com)
