ALBAWABA - Rumors circulated on the internet that the reason behind the closure of Cypriot Embassy doors in Lebanon was the statements made by Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants clarified to LBCI that the one-day closure of the Cypriot Embassy has no connection to statements made by the Hezbollah Secretary General.

According to the ministry, this closure was pre-planned for administrative reasons, specifically related to visa fee adjustments. The embassy is scheduled to resume normal operations starting Friday.

Nasrallah Speech

Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, has warned Israel and Cyprus that a full-scale conflict may break out, coinciding with information from Israeli media outlets and both sides' military operations.

The Defense Minister reportedly said, "Hezbollah started the war and we must change the situation" according to Israeli Channel 12.

"If Hezbollah continues to attack us, the south of Lebanon will look like Gaza, and there will be no immunity for Beirut," a top official reportedly said, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for many strikes on Israeli forces. They claimed to have targeted Israeli forces at Al-Baghdadi's position using a drone, resulting in direct strikes.

In his televised speech, Hasan Nasrallah declared, "Our martyrdom is a victory, not a defeat. The battle on its Lebanese front has inflicted significant material, moral, and psychological losses on the enemy. If what is happening is normal on the southern front, why seek to stop it, and why shout, intimidate, wail, and threaten?"
