Colombian Parliament Speaker Solaima Hatem on Sunday said that her visit to Syria is in the framework of cementing the existing relations between the two countries’ Parliaments.
In an arrival statement, Hatem voiced the desire for deepening the existing relations in economic, commercial and cultural fields, according to <i>SANA</i> news agency.
Hatem, heading a parliamentary delegation, arrived in the Syrian capital on Sunday morning. She was received at Damascus International Airport by Chairman of the Arab-Foreign Affairs Committee at the People’s Assembly and by a number of the PA members.
