The French daily sport newspaper "L'Equipe" reported Friday that the international Moroccan striker, Marouane Chemmakh, continues to be linked to many European clubs despite the statement by the president of his current club Bordeaux, Jean-Louis Triaud that the Moroccan striker is not for sale.

According to the newspaper, Triaud's declaration did not prevent Olympique Lyon from approaching "the talented and elegant" international player and offering him a five year contract. According to the report, Lyon representatives emphasized that staying in Bordeaux will be very bad for Chemmakh's career and will not give him any possibility to take part in a serious European tournament.

Other major teams in Europe, including Inter Milan and Ajax Amsterdam have also expressed interest in the 21 year-old player, who has scored 10 goals last season.
