Cellucom, one of the premier distributors of mobile communication devices and accessories in the Middle East, has stepped up its focus on expanding its service centers, to offer high quality repair and service capabilities to customers, with a half million dollar investment in its service facility in Dubai. The expansion included the addition of special equipment and facilities for mobile phones repairs.
The special equipment includes the addition of specifically designed work benches, that consist of many essential tools that are required in enabling and aiding a technician to conduct a successful repair. Cellucom has increased the number of these work benches, costing $50,000 each, from three to twelve, besides the inclusion of eight supporting benches.
“Cellucom offers its customers value added services like life-time warranty and 30-minute repair or replace service for all Nokia and Sony Ericsson mobiles, requiring the company to strengthen its service centers,” said Muhammad Saqib, Regional Service Manager, Middle East and Africa, Cellucom.
“After sales services are just as important to Cellucom as the initial sale itself, as we are committed in building long term relationships with our customers and in the process to create strong customer loyalty. By expanding our service center facilities we can further enhance the quality of our service to customers, across all market segments,” he added.
Commenting on the expansion, Arun Nagar, Managing Director, Cellucom said, “The extremely competitive mobile phone market in the Middle East has created a need to offer innovative value added services to customers. Besides, our customers have been extremely loyal to us over the years, and providing excellent after sales support is one of the ways we can express our gratitude to them,”
Cellucom has also tripled its skilled technicians who have been trained to repair extensive damages to mobile phones. Every Cellucom technician has undergone intense training programs conducted by Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Pantech, ensuring a thorough and quick repair of mobile phones.
“Cellucom technicians are fully equipped with the expertise to identify any kind of problems in mobile phones and they are provided with the best infrastructure facilities and equipments to repair these phones. With the recent expansion of our service facility we have been able to repair around 180 phones a day compared to the 45 repairs we used to handle earlier,” concluded Saqib.
Cellucom currently has 14 service centers across the GCC and 3 in East Africa.
