A car bomb was activated Monday afternoon in the Or Yehuda area in Tel Aviv, Israel Radio and Army Radio reported. The attack occurred in a market in the suburb, dubbed as Abu Laban, located near Ben Gurion Airport.
Four were slightly injured, according to the report.
The police said initially that it was a criminal act, but the Army Radio confirmed that nationalist motives were believed to be behind the attack, quoting a senior police officer.
Yosi Sedbon, the central region police commander told the radio that there was a nationalist background to the bomb attack. He said it is miracle that only four were injured. Two women in their 50s and a girl aged 8 were injured slightly, he said. No information about the fourth was available.
Sedbon added that the bomb was inside the car, and police were quoted as saying that the car was stolen from Jerusalem area – Albawaba.com
