Cambodian legislators said on Monday they had accepted revised legislation submitted by the government for a long-awaited tribunal to try leaders of the 1970s Khmer Rouge "killing fields" regime.
"Today the legislative committees of the National Assembly supported article 3 of the revised legislation," said Sok An, minister for the cabinet.
The legislative committee would submit the law for approval by parliament members on Wednesday next week, he added -- PHNOM PENH (AFP)
