One Bahraini policeman was critically injured and five others suffered severe burns to their bodies when a group of people in Sitra hurled a Molotov cocktail at the minibus they were travelling in late Thursday night. The minibus, which was carrying 12 policemen who work as guards at public and private establishments, was attacked in front of Ibn Al Nafees Primary School for Boys at 10pm, The Gulf Daily News reported.
All the injured were immediately taken to hospital for treatment.
An Interior Ministry spokesman said early Friday that an investigation had started to locate the attackers. He urged the public not to hesitate to give any information which could lead to the arrest of the criminals. (Albawaba.com)
