An Air Malta flight from Tel Aviv was grounded at Larnaca airport in Cyprus Thursday for some 13 hours following a bomb scare, police said.
The Airbus 319 had been due to leave with its 57 passengers, including 12 Israelis and five Libyans, for Valetta at 3:00 a.m. (0000 GMT) when airport security received a phone call.
"A search has been carried out on the plane and luggage checked with sniffer dogs. Nothing was found," a police spokesman said.
Flight KM 799 was expected to depart at 4:00 p.m., an Air Malta spokesman said -- NICOSIA (AFP)
