“A homemade bomb was found at Jordan's embassy in Riyadh on Wednesday, after an anonymous warning,” official sources told Jordan Times Newspaper (JT) on Thursday.
One source was quoted by JT as saying that, “the mission in Riyadh received a telephone call in the afternoon that a device had been planted at the compound.”
He added, “Saudi police were called in and found the bomb inside one of the bathrooms.”
The official and others were unable to speculate about the individual/party that might be behind the attempt.
“The Saudi Arabian authorities are investigating the matter and have promised to put us in the picture once the results are completed,” the source added—Albawaba.com
