Berraf to lead Algerian Olympic Committee

Mustapha Berraf has been reelected president of the Algerian Olympic Committee (COA), in the voting, which was carried out recently by the electoral general assembly of that body. The voting process took place in Algiers.
Berraf, 51 years old, gained 80 votes, whereas his rival, Sid Ali Lebib, an ex-minister and the present director of Algeria's customs, gained the backing of 54 voters. This it is the second consecutive term of Berraf and third at the top of the Algerian Olympic Committee.
