A suspected member of Spain's Basque separatist movement ETA has been arrested in the south of France, the Spanish Interior Ministry announced Wednesday.
Inaki Telletxea Goni, alias "Patata", was wanted for membership of a cell which carried out 20 attacks, including bombings and assassinations of police officers, between 1994 and 1997, the ministry said.
"Patata" was arrested Tuesday at a police control near Narbonne, in southern France, with a gun, false identity papers and false number plates on his vehicle.
