ALBAWABA - According to the Israeli military, sirens were activated in warning of ballistic missiles headed for Tel Aviv from Lebanon. The suspension of aviation traffic at Ben Gurion Airport was verified by Israeli media.
The sirens were activated across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, in response to the cross-border missile launches from Lebanon, according to Israeli Army Radio.
Additionally, the military said, "We detected three missile launches from Lebanon, all of which were intercepted." The Israeli army responded by confirming that they had targeted the attack's missile launch location.
Israeli media agencies stated that flights at Ben Gurion Airport were halted in related news. According to Channel 12, the persistent missile threat compelled an El Al aircraft that was getting ready to arrive at the airport to keep flying over the Dead Sea.
