Bahrain’s King Sheikh Hamad bin Essa Al-Khalifa on Monday announced a pardon to release 52 inmates currently being held on criminal charges. This was done on the occasion of the Kingdom’s National Day, KUNA reported.
The pardon aims at providing a chance for the former inmates to reintegrate with society and participate in the kingdom's forward progression and development, the agency concluded. (Albawaba.com)
