Bahrain on Tuesday called on the US to intervene in
the Middle East to end Israeli assaults against the Palestinians, reported the Gulf Daily News.
"The US administration must perform its role in helping to achieve a just and comprehensive peace," Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa told US Ambassador Johnny Young.
The call came amid "constant Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people as well as their lands and their national establishments, including Orient House," Sheikh Mohammed said.
