Six Iraqi saboteurs "working for the Iranian regime" have been arrested in Iraq, the official INA news agency said Saturday, quoting a statement from public security.
The "criminals have confessed to having been incited by terrorist circles in the Iranian regime to perpetrate criminal acts for the benefit of the US administration and the Zionist entity (Israel)," INA said.
Iraqi state television Saturday "aired confessions by the six criminals, in which they admitted having carried out operations in Iraq at the behest of two Iranian officers with a view to undermining (Iraq's) security and inflicting damage on official institutions." -- BAGHDAD (AFP)
