Azeri FM expresses hope embassy to be opened in Kuwait

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Ilmar Mamedyarov on ‏  

‏Monday said his country is attaching special importance on developing ‏economic, political and cultural relations with Kuwait. ‏  

 

Speaking to KUNA, Mamedyarov expressed the hope that Azerbaijan would open ‏an embassy in Kuwait during the coming summer.  

 

He added that late president Haider Aliyev had signed a decision in this respect in the year 2002 but it could not ‏ 

‏be fulfilled due to financial reasons.‏  

 

Furthermore, he urged Kuwait to open an embassy in Azerbaijan to further boost bilateral ‏relations between both countries. (Albawaba.com) ‏
