ALBAWABA - In one recent instance, an attack targeted a drone factory that Russia had created in Tatarstan. Seven people were reportedly injured in the attack, which took place on the property where kamikaze drones are produced.
The unexpected onslaught was faced by the facility, which was strategically located some 1,200 kilometers away from the Ukrainian border. There was a large explosion, and several were hurt—two of them were children, according to Russian media.
This factory was specifically designed to produce Russian kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Shahid 135 class. Although the President of Tatarstan provided assurances about the limited severity of the damage, photographs taken at the scene showed obvious damage to the frontal structure of the building.
To far, no formal statement has been released to assign blame for the attack. Nevertheless, Ukraine was named as a party to the drone strike by Russia's state-run news agency TASS.
The alleged persistence of terrorist actions in Ukraine was highlighted by Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who also highlighted Russian measures to counter such threats with force. Ukraine, on the other hand, has not yet addressed these accusations.
