Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Monday received at his residence in London, members of the Syrian Association in Britain, who represent the Syrian community in that country.
President Assad and the Association members discussed perspectives of cooperation between Syria and Britain in the political, economical, cultural and tourism arenas.
According to SANA, President Assad affirmed his appreciation for the Association’s activities, expressing Damascus’ readiness to support them.
In addition, the Syrian leader expressed hope for continued dialogue between the Association’s members and members of various Syrian activities.
The Foreign Minister, Communications Minister, Economy Minister, Foreign Ministry's Foreign Media Director and the Syrian Ambassador to London attended the meeting as well. (Albawaba.com)
