Armenian Minister of Education and Science, Livon Mkrtchian is in Dubai within the framework of a four- day visit to the country. This visit comes in response to an invitation from Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, according to Emirates News Agency.
Mkrtchian arrived in Dubai on Saturday. Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Director of Community Affairs and Manpower Development at the Higher Colleges of Technology, HCT, and Arshak Poladian, the Armenian Charge d' Affaires, received the Minister at the Dubai International Airport.
In a statement to the News Agency, the Minister extended his joy on the visit, which he said would contribute in opening new areas of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of education, science and technology. (Albawaba.com)
