ARAMEX (DFM: ARMX), the total transportation solutions provider,
today received a globally recognized certification as a result of its successful application of the highest international standards for security across its logistics network. The Technology Asset Protection Association (TAPA) has certified the security structure and organization that the rapidly growing global group applies throughout the supply chain.
TAPA is one of the key industry quality indicators. Iyad Kamal, ARAMEX’s Vice President for Logistics & Ground Services, said: “TAPA is one of the guarantors of higher security standards within the international logistics and shipping industries, so the Association’s ruling effectively confirms that the quality of ARAMEX’s services is up there with the very best.”
TAPA’s rigorous guidelines and assessment criteria ensure that every company it certifies meets a specified level of security throughout the supply chain, and in its methods for maintaining its standards. “As a result of its continuing commitment to quality services, ARAMEX would be confident of not only meeting TAPA’s requirements but also of superseding them.” Mr. Kamal added, “Our focus is on quality, efficiency and security and this TAPA certification confirms that these qualities are being displayed across the range of our services.”
ARAMEX’s TAPA certification will first be stamped right across the company’s Queen Alia Airport Free Zone and Amman Industrial City (Sahab) facilities in Jordan. ARAMEX’s Jebel Ali Free Zone logistics centre and all remaining ARAMEX’s logistics will subsequently be branded TAPA certified.
