Arabian Automobiles prides to bring to the UAE market the awards winning Infiniti G Sedan available in its showrooms in Dubai. Already sporting an array of trophies to rival an Oscar ceremony, Infiniti’s G Sedan continues to harvest prestigious awards from US media.
On top of the ‘Best in Class’ award for three years in a row from Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine, the G Sedan has now garnered ‘10 Best Cars’ status from Automobile Magazine and Car & Driver as well as ‘Best Sports Sedan’ from Money Magazine.
Also Ward’s AutoWorld has chosen the G Sedan’s 3.5-litre, V6 engine for its 2005 ‘10 Best Engines’ list.
Judges have been unstinting in their praise for the 2005 model that sets a new benchmark for its sector, providing progressive and modern luxury that outshines conventional rivals.
Automobile Magazine commented: “The G charms us endlessly – utterly serious performance”, while Money Magazine enthuses “Sharp handling, big fun – the fleetest, strongest player in its class”.
Middle East customers have now joined the G’s fast-growing fan club. Since its regional launch earlier this year, sales have followed the North American trend of good growth.
The 2005 model features a redesigned exterior, a refined interior with new instrument panel and console area, and increased horsepower and torque from the standard 3.5-litre, 24-valve, DOHC V6 engine.
“The succession of awards that the G Sedan collects confirms everything we have been saying since the car hit our showrooms – this really is an extra-special vehicle,” says Michel Ayat, General Manager of Arabian Automobiles Company, Infiniti distributor for Dubai and Northern Emirates.
The front engine, rear-wheel drive Infiniti G-Sedan delivers 289 horsepower and 37.9 Kg\M of torque, linked to electronically controlled five-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode.
Other performance-oriented changes include the use of larger standard brake rotors, four-wheel independent multi-link suspension with extensive use of lightweight aluminum components, and large diameter front and rear stabilizer bars.
The new exterior design reflects the G’s sporty character and dynamic performance, featuring a very low drag coefficient and zero front lift.
A sliding glass sunroof with tilt and one-touch open/close feature is a standard option. Inside, seats are upholstered in luxurious, ultra-soft leather with eight-way power adjustment on the driver’s seat and four-way on the passenger’s side.
