The follow-up committee on the Palestinian crisis formed at last year’s Arab summit in Cairo will meet there again next month, during a regular session of the Arab League, a diplomatic source said on Friday.
The committee was originally slated to meet in Amman later this month, but the session was rescheduled after consultations among its members, the source told the Daily Star.
The source said the postponement was noteworthy because at the previous Cairo meeting, members upheld a Palestinian request to defer discussion of certain issues until the Amman gathering.
The source added that the serious developments in the occupied Palestinian territories warranted keeping the committee permanently active – Albawaba.com
