More than one thousand people, representing the entire political, diplomatic, artistic and journalistic spectrum of Washington, attended on Thursday evening, May 10, the eight annual gala of fund raising for the Mosaic Foundation. The event, which was chaired this year by Mrs. Maria Felice Mekouar, the wife of the Moroccan ambassador in the United States, was held at the prestigious National Museum Building.
<i>EMarrakech</i> reports that the eighth official reception of the Foundation was held under the topic 'The West turns to the East: the influences of traditional Arab design on Western European fashion'.
