According to JANA, te UN Secretary General Kofie Annan expressed his full satisfaction and appreciation to the leader of the revolution and for the warm welcome accorded to him, during his participation in the 5th ordinary session of the African Union in Sert.
in a letter of thanks and appreciation to the leader, Annan hailed the in depth discussions he conducted with him during his visit to Great Jamahiriya.
In his letter the UN Secretary General, Kofie Annan, extended an invitation to the leader of the revolution, to attend the world summit due to be held in New York next September.
Annan underlined the importance of the attendance of the leader in this world summit, to be turning point towards strengthening the collective work in the world, in a broad series of fields, especially development agenda, human rights and UN reform.
