The Amman Waves, Jordan’s premier aqua park and resort, received on Wednesday, August 10, a group of 50 children from the SOS village in Irbid, which was considered a sincere gesture to heighten the children’s morale and provide them with entertainment that would uplift their spirits.
The children spent the whole day at the Amman Waves resort, where they enjoyed their pastimes around the swimming pools, playing and sharing the water-based games. In addition, they toured the park’s facilities, the forest, and the zoo. The children later had their lunch at one of the Amman Waves' restaurants.
The visit by children of the SOS village came as a donation from the Amman Waves to receive these children and provide them with all the required enjoyment that is distinguished within the spectacular natural landscape.
Mr. Mu’ataz Akroush, General Manager of the Amman Waves, welcomed the children and stated, "The SOS visit is inline with Amman Waves’ corporate social responsibility program’s objectives to begin playing a more proactive role in honoring the social commitment and to link up with the Jordanian social concerns and interests, by enhancing its contributions to the Kingdom’s social and economic development. Doors of the Amman Waves are open for all families since the park pinpoints its social-oriented activities".
