Amman to host Arab Woman Summit

Dr. Thuwaiba bint Ahmed al-Barwani, Omani Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare, will lead a two-member delegation to the 2nd Arab Woman Summit Conference, which is expected to take place in the Jordanian capital of Amman between November 3-4, according to Oman News Agency. 

 

The conference, which will be chaired by Jordan’s Queen Rania al-Abdullah will discuss a strategy to promote the status of Arab women, support Palestinian women and other various Arab women affairs.  

 

The conference is held every two years. Cairo hosted the last one back in November 2000. (Albawaba.com)
