ALBAWABA - Hamas' military branch, Al-Qassam Brigades, today published video of its actions against Israeli soldiers during the group's recent assault into northern Gaza's Beit Hanoun.
The video, which is from a series called "Ambushes of Death in Beit Hanoun: The Witness and the Evidence," focuses on incidents that took place between December 29, 2024, and January 7, 2025, according to Al Jazeera.
The video shows an Israeli sniper and his helper being eliminated, as well as an Israeli soldier being killed by a sniper operation using an Al-Qassam weapon. Other shots show an attack on the Granite 932 Battalion, which resulted in heavy losses, and the use of explosive devices to destroy a Merkava tank and a D9 bulldozer.
Significant losses during the Beit Hanoun confrontations were verified by Israeli media sources. Within a week, Channel 7 claimed that 15 troops had been slain, including a whole squad from the elite Nahal Brigade.
In the video, Hussein Fayad, the leader of the Beit Hanoun Battalion of Al-Qassam, said, "the occupation army will not pass through this area without being punished."
Israeli media recognized significant casualties, including the deaths of 15 troops in a single week, according to Al Jazeera. With this, Israeli troops have now killed over 840 people since October 7, 2023.
