A series of new steps have been declared Wednesday by Algeria's President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, at the opening of the national convention on the small and medium enterprise (SME). The new measures include the revision of the trade code, the setting up of the guarantee and the capital-risk funds to favour SME development. The revision of the trade code is aimed at lifting a certain number of obstacles still impeding investment and economic activities, APS reported.
