Algerian pharmaceutical imports during the first six months of the current year totaled $525 million compared to $515 million in the same period of last year, it was reported Monday.
By the end of this year, Algeria's pharmaceutical imports are expected to hit $1.1 billion versus $950 million last year, mainly due to the recent lifting of import restrictions on these products. Total Algerian imports during the first half of the year reached $10.61 billion compared to $8.63 billion in the equivalent period last year.
