A visiting Algerian military delegation met on Sunday with the Syrian defense minister General Mustafa Tlas and held talks with the new Syrian chief of staff general Hassan Turkomani. The delegation is headed by the Algerian chief of staff lieutenant general Mohammad al-Amari.
The Syrian Arab news agency (SANA) said that the discussions tackled means of fostering cooperation horizons between the two countries' armies. The delegation arrived in Damascus Sunday. (Albawaba.com)
