Algerian football team gets ready to Mediterranean Games 2005

The Algerian national football team will gather for training from June 3 to June 6, in Algiers. The training sessions will be held in preparation for the Mediterranean Games at Almeria, Spain, which are scheduled to take place on June 3 until July 24.

 

<i>Liberte Algerie</i> reports Algeria will play in Group C along with Tunisia, Greece and Malta. The first game will be held in Vicar and will see Algeria playing against Tunisia.

Every four years the countries of the Mediterranean Basin gather to celebrate a competition of which "Almería 2005" will be the 15th celebration.
