Algeria and Yemen agreed to promote a joint committee in order to implement treaties signed by the two countries to be chaired by their foreign ministers.
The agreement was declared Monday in a joint press release on the results of talks held by the Algerian Foreign Minister Abdul-Aziz Belkhadem with Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi.
According to SABA, the two sides agreed to hold a second meeting in Algeria next year. They also agreed on extending contacts between officials in both countries.
The two foreign ministers urged businessmen in both countries to establish a joint council as a framework for potential common investment projects. (albawaba.com)
