ALBAWABA - The armed branch of Hamas, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, today released a video showing an attack on an Israeli-occupied building east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The video, which was taken on Thursday, shows how a camera-equipped kamikaze drone was deployed to attack the structure.
A ground force member from Al-Qassam made the following statement before to the attack: "By God's will, this kamikaze drone will deliver a swift and deadly blow, with His guidance and support."
Similar footage of "Al-Zawari" kamikaze drones being launched on Israeli military positions near the Gaza border and in the surrounding areas has already been made public by Al-Qassam.
Videos showing the militants' attempts to repel the Israeli military's massive ground assault of Gaza have been regularly released by Al-Qassam since the invasion began in late October. These videos have shown a variety of techniques, such as using anti-tank missiles to target tanks, setting off explosives, setting up effective ambushes, attacking entrenched Israeli positions directly, using sniper rifles, and engaging in close-quarters fighting.
In a separate event, Hezbollah releases video showcasing "Imad 4" rocket launch facility, called "Our Mountains, Our Treasures," in which it displayed the "Imad 4" missile launch site. The "Imad" complex is shown in the film, complete with a variety of military hardware including rocket launchers.
The facility's substantial size and underground reach were highlighted by Hezbollah's official source Al-Manar, which emphasized the message to Israel that the resistance is ready for any eventuality.
