ALBAWABA - Three Israeli drones were captured by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades as Palestinian resistance increased in Gaza. Israeli bombings have killed almost 45,000 Gazans.
The Qassam Brigades of Hamas recovered three Israeli "quad-copter" surveillance drones in Rafah's Al-Jneina district. The group said the drones were on intelligence operations.
The Qassam Brigades also mortared Israeli forces in Jabalia refugee camp. Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigades mortared Israeli troops near the Jabalia Service Club. Resistance groups fight Israeli forces at numerous Gaza Strip incursion sites.
According to the IDF, the 162nd Division is active in northern Gaza, encompassing Jabalia and Beit Lahia. The army said it found rocket-launching platforms, weaponry, and tunnels in Rafah.
A drone struck a group of militants approaching Israeli forces, killing them, according to the IDF. The statement said forces are removing Gaza's "military infrastructure".
Israeli airstrikes continue to hit residential areas, killing many. A attack on Gaza City's Al-Nasr Street killed two Palestinians and injured several others on Friday afternoon. A house in Al-Sabra was targeted by another airstrike, killing five people, including women and children.
Further strikes in Al-Daraj and Al-Rimal killed and injured more people. Medical officials warn that many injuries are life-threatening as emergency personnel struggle to extract survivors from the rubble.
