ALBAWABA - An Artificial Intelligence (AI) video featuring Yair Netanyahu, son of the Israeli Prime Minister, in the captivity of Hamas fighters was shared by families of hostages in Israel.
Families of hostages captured on October 7, 2023, by Hamas, are desperate to convince the Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu to agree on a ceasefire deal with Hamas and the release of the hostages.
Protests have been carried out in the Israeli capital Tel Aviv with demands to reach a compromise with the Palestinian resistance group.
Hamas announced on October 7, 2023, a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades. Over 240 hostages were taken by Hamas fighters. Israel revealed that currently there are 97 hostages left in Gaza.
A person shared the AI-generated clip of Yair Netanyahu and said: "The AI-generated clip shows Yair Netanyahu, son of the Israeli prime minister, seemingly imprisoned in a Hamas tunnel, asking his parents for help to raise awareness of the suffering of Israeli prisoners and urge the government to release them."
In the video, the son of the Israeli PM was featured inside a Hamas tunnel in Gaza and asking for help from his family. "My father and mother, I ask you to release me."
