A big weekend of family and corporate entertainment was staged this week as part of the climax to the Maktoum Sailing Trophy, the Gulf region’s most prestigious fleet racing event.

The Mina Regatta, which featured children’s entertainment, live music and culinary treats, was organized by Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina in conjunction with Dubai International Marine Club and the main sponsor Porsche Centre Dubai, Al Nabooda Automobiles.

Launched to coincide with the final round on 4-5 May of the Maktoum Sailing Trophy, the regatta over looked the exciting fleet racing series, currently in its second year, which is part of an emerging season of international sailing events being staged by DIMC.

“We like to support events that our clients like to see taking place more often in Dubai” stated Mr. Georg Brune, General Manager of Porsche Centre Dubai.
Brune went on to explain that Porsche Centre Dubai does not restrict its support to sports events but also to a diversity of cultural events.

The spectacular display of Porsches including the new addition to the range, the Cayenne Turbo S placed on the entrance of the corporate hospitality tent had all heads turning with admiration.
