Air Arabia LLC, the Middle East region's first and only low-fares airline takes off on the 2nd June for their inaugural flight to Sharm El Sheikh and Luxor. CEO of Air Arabia, Adel Ali, will join official delegates and customers on board to celebrate the occasion. Customers will not only benefit from the new routes, but also from Air Arabia’s comprehensive booking facility, which allows them to book their flights and discount accommodation online, through Air Arabia’s partnership with Octopus Travel.

“There has been great demand for these destinations and we are pleased to be expanding to meet our customer’s needs. Sharm El Sheikh and Luxor are popular resorts, and we are delighted that we can give more customers the opportunity to visit such places and take advantage of the value offered by Air Arabia,” said Adel Ali.

“Air Arabia already flies to Assuit and Alexandria in Egypt; by adding the new destinations we are able to offer Egyptian Nationals and people in the UAE the opportunity to travel affordably to the region; whether they are returning home, taking a holiday or commuting for business. We are grateful to The Departments of Civil Aviation in Egypt who have been very supportive in helping us to make this possible,” Ali added.

Flights to Sharm El Sheikh and on to Luxor will depart on Thursdays and Sundays at 10.00, arriving at 12.45 local time in Sharm El Sheikh and 14.10 in Luxor. Fares start from 250 AED to Sharm El Sheikh and 300 AED to Luxor.

With the addition of Sharm El Sheikh and Luxor, Air Arabia flies from Sharjah to eighteen different destinations: Alexandria, Bahrain, Beirut, Colombo, Damascus, Doha, Mumbai, Muscat, Kuwait, Dammam, Khartoum, Aleppo, Assiut, Jeddah, Riyadh and Sana’a. A new route to Kabul will be added in June.

Committed to enabling customers who have not been able to afford air travel in the past to start travelling throughout the region and those who do travel to travel more frequently, Air Arabia offers tremendous opportunities to travellers who are looking for competitive fares. It aims to make air travel more convenient and frequent, while providing the lowest fares in the market without sacrificing the standards of safety, quality or service offered. Bookings can be made through Air Arabia’s call centre in Sharjah on (+971 6) 558 0000, the website www.airarabia.com; Air Arabia Sales Centres; appointed travel agents; and Emirates Post offices.
