The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries will take part in the 13th meeting of the Steering Committee of Programs for Combating Desertification, expanding green areas and environmental support for rural regions. The meeting is due to be held in Cairo, Egypt from January 28 to 30, according to Emirates News Agency.
Hamad Saif Al Mazrua’e, Director General of the Agricultural Services Department and Steering Committee member, will represent the Ministry at the Cairo Meeting, held under the patronage of the Secretarial General of the Arab League.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries will also attend the third session of the Chemicals Examination Committee, due to be held in Geneva from February 18 to 22. Director General of Plant Protection and Agricultural Guidance Department, Abdullah Al Amiri, will head the country’s mission. (Albawaba.com)
