Palestinian National Authority's (PNA) President Mahmoud Abbas denied on Saturday reports on his intention to delay the legislative council's elections planned for next July.
In a statement to the press, Abbas said that the PNA's stance is clear on this issue within the framework of ongoing efforts to change the laws. Abbas' statement came following media reports claiming that the ruling Fatah Movement has the intention of postponing the elections due to not approving the modified electoral law by the current legislative council.
