98,400 boxes of antibiotics stolen in Algeria

The Algerian Trade Union of Pharmacies alerted the authorities that on July 30 a total pf 98,440 boxes of antibiotics were stolen in the port of Algeria. <i>Liberte Algeria</i> reports that this information was made public by the Algerian National Trade Union of Pharmacies (SNAPO) on its web site (www.snapo.org.) Following this announcement, an alert message was sent by the Pharmacy Management department of Ministry of Health to all wholesalers and retailers to prevent the circulation of the stolen products.
