The 7th Fair for Children in Casablanca aimed at bringing children closer to and educating them about the environment they live in started March 1 and is scheduled to continue until March 6. The main theme of this year’s fair is “Education, Citizenship and Environment” and it will include many educational activities for children and their parents.
One of the main events that are scheduled to take place in the fair is the “Young Citizen” forum aiming at informing children and preparing them for their role in shaping the future of Morocco as its future citizens. The fair will also provide the children with an opportunity to learn about the history and traditions of other countries such as Japan, China, Egypt and Turkey. <i>Le Matin</i> reports that following an impressive attendance in last year’s fair (70,000 visitors) the organizers expect an even larger crowd to attend this year.
