ALBAWABA - A six-story building collapsed on Wednesday morning, causing panic among people in Gebze, Turkey, local media reported.
The reason behind the collapse remains unknown until this moment; however, Turkish authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine what exactly happened.
Initial investigations confirmed that residents awoke to a loud crash, and upon investigating the source of the noise, discovered that the building had completely collapsed.
Eyewitnesses reported that seven people were inside the building when it collapsed. Rescue teams are continuing their efforts to reach victims under the rubble.
