The 5th edition of the international Animation Cinema Festival of Meknes (FICAM 05) is scheduled to take place from April 14 to April 20. The event will enable the Moroccan public to watch the creations of the world's greatest artists in this field. The present edition of FICAM 05 was initiated by the French Institute of Meknes in partnership with the Cinematheque and the service for co-operation and cultural action of the French embassy in Rabat.
<i>Emarrakech</i> reports that this year's festival will also pay tribute to one of the greatest cartoon filmmakers in France, Jean-Francois Laguionie, and will present a mixture of his work composed from his full-length and short movies.
