ALBAWABA - Earth Day is being observed on the same day as the Gaza situation, with Palestinians celebrating Land Day in the face of constant Israeli airstrikes. Israel continues to pound Gaza by air, land, and sea.

Despite growing international pressure, the administration of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has refused to allow Palestinians to return to northern Gaza. UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini urges action in Gaza to prevent starvation amid the growing war.

Israeli protesters gathered along a major thoroughfare near Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home in Qesarya to demand his resignation.

Saturday night's rally was one of dozens in Israel recently. Hanna Ziesel, a Qesarya resident, told "Times of Israel" reporters that these meetings intended to pressure Netanyahu into calling new elections.

Amos Malka, a former Israeli military intelligence director, accused Netanyahu of neglecting Gazan Hamas captives.

In an interview with "Times of Israel," anti-Netanyahu activist Malka blamed Netanyahu's leadership for recent failures after October 7.

Another group of demonstrators in Tel Aviv gathered outside the Ministry of Defense, voicing various complaints about Netanyahu's government. The main protest on Kaplan Street near Sarona Mall demanded early elections and Netanyahu's ouster.

Near this demonstration, 1973 war veterans gathered behind a tank sculpture to abolish conscription exemptions for radical religious school pupils.

Israeli media report that police fortified Begin and Kaplan streets and critical entrances to the Ayalon expressway to prevent traffic disruptions, a common occurrence during weekly rallies.
