The first national festival of revolutionary poetry, organized under the patronage of Mohamed Abbas Sherif, Minister Responsible for Moudjahidine, and Hamou Ahmed Touhami, the wali of Djelfa, will be held this weekend on March 19-20. <i>Liberte Algeria</i> reports that about 35 historians as well as several figures of the revolution will take part in this event.
The famous poet Moufdi Zakaria will also participate in the event and his son Slimane Sheik will receive a price of honor in the festival. Two Members of the National Organization Commission of the Festival of 43rd anniversary of the victory, which is on March 19 as well, will be also be given an award during the event.
