Some 17 Yemenis have drowned in the port city of Aden in the past few days “because of the troubled status of the sea,” a police official said Sunday.
He told the official Yemeni news agency, Saba, that 17 people aged six to 22 years had drowned due to the restless sea.
Warning markers were put along the beach to caution the people against swimming in the sea, he explained. Aden's waters are usually very rough during July and August, he said – Albawaba.com
