Arab economic plans and investment incentives will top the agenda of this year's Euro-Money conference to open in Cairo on Tuesday.
Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid will inaugurate the two-day annual event, which is expected to draw 1,600 officials, businessmen, investors and economic experts from Egypt and abroad, said the Egyptian Gazette.
The conference will address the economic challenges facing Arab countries, such as globalization, economic blocs and free trade accords.
Participants, who will include representatives from the European Union (EU) and US, will begin discussions on Arab economic policies for the coming year, conference organizers said.
They will address the investment incentives that Arab governments offer investors in infrastructure projects.
Other sessions will tackle Arab trade policies and explore ways of settling regional trade disputes. They will also review money markets in the region, particularly in Egypt, organizers said.
One session will focus on investments in communications and information technology (IT), sectors of great importance in Egypt – Albawaba.com
