The 15th edition of women rally, "Aicha des Gazelles", is scheduled to take place on April 21 to April 30 in Morocco. The "Aicha des Gazelles" rally was launched in 1990 and serves as the women's equivalent to Paris-Dakar Rally. It is a unique race for women-only. It involves 9 days of off-road driving for nearly 2,500 km, through the Moroccan Sahara. Female participants can compete in it with various land vehicles including motorbikes, trucks, buggies and others.

This year's edition will be attended by 92 teams, arriving from more than 14 countries including the Senegalese President's daughter, Syndiely Wade and her compatriot, Valerie Dot, honorary advisor to the United Nations Development Program and 3 times Paris-Dakar contestant, who are taking part in the race in order to promote the fight against AIDS.
